Hi! My name is Susan Turner and I am the Career Development Coordinator at Walter Williams High School. Many students and parents feel the crunch of college in the Junior year! There are many opportunities for students in addition to going directly into a 4 year college situation. Many job opportunities can be found in 2 year speciality programs, and "Gapping". This is very common in Europe. Students may take a year off from post-secondary decisions and volunteer for the Peace Corps or experience missionary work. This helps to solidify a sense of self! Please contact me for ideas and information.
